John Gribbin (1984), In Search of Schrödinger's Cat: Quantum Physics and Reality. I've read “In search of Schrodinger's Cat”, “Schrödinger's Kittens and the Search for Reality” and I think one more but I can't remember. I have worn out my copy not only due to re-reads, but passing it around to friends almost constantly. What attracted me is a quote attributed to famous scientist Niels Bohr, that appeared on the back cover of the book. In Search of Schrodinger's Cat tells the complete story of quantum. I happen to pick up a book on quantum theory titled “In search of Schrodinger's Cat” by John Gribbin. (I do however have in my possession a copy of John Gribbin's In Search of Schrödinger's Cat: Quantum Physics and Reality, which I am hoping to get to later this summer. Gribbin's best-known book is a work on quantum physics titled In Search of Schrödinger's Cat, and his latest book is In Search of the Multiverse, which looks at the possibility of alternate realities. The older Abby got, the more I wondered how we'd make the decision when the time came. We had to say goodbye on May 26th and it was the hardest, yet easiest, decision we've ever made. A great book about physics that is very accessible is In Search of Schrodinger's Cat. Home · About us · Archives · Contact us. A popular book rather than a text book, but it inspired me to study physics. Posted on June 4, 2013 by Shauna. Also picked up along with my new Cary grant book , Patrick McGilligan ;s ;Alfred Hitchcock : A Life in Darkness and Light ;. Part history book and part remedial physics text for those who lost interest when the equations started getting unintuitive, In Search of Schrödinger's Cat explains quantum physics in a way that's not only clear, but also enjoyable.
